I downloaded the module of webphoto 1.72 from the link offered by Xoops.cn and converted the schinese_utf8 language files to tchinese_utf8 files.
I installed it by the module of Xoops Trust Path . I tried to install on two websites. 1.http://163.17.228.1:8000/school/ The systems are Apache/2.2.8 (Win32) PHP/5.2.6 Mysql/5.18 Server at 163.17.228.1 Port 8000 Xoops 2.018 2. http://163.17.228.1:8000/school/person/ The systems are Apache/2.2.8 (Win32) PHP/5.2.6 Mysql/5.18 Server at 163.17.228.1 Port 8000 Xoops 2.32 In the modules management block, I got a same message which showed "not set the module's dirname of modinfo.php". I updated the code as below: 1.modinfo.php define("FOR_XOOPS_LANG_CHECKER","1"); 2.xoops_version.php define("WEBPHOTO_TRUST_PATH","webphoto"); Since that here is no error message yet,But I still can't find the module in the module management block. Help me please. Thank you ! |

Trying the default english language file ,I renamed the tchinese_uf8 language file to other name.
It still showed the message "not set the module's dirname of http://163.17.228.1:8000/school/person/modules/webphoto/language/english/modinfo.php". |

Go take a look at the Babylon site linked above. They have over 150 tested for compatibility modules listed here, and another 150+ listed as probably compatible but yet to test here. Couldn't tell you which devs are still xoopsing or not, but as you say, one helluva list!
Love the new theme there, btw. ![]() |

Apologies if you have already done this, but this module requires you to create a trust path folder and I just wonder if you have installed it correctly (instructions are included with the module).
For example, to install this using Xoops 2.0.18, I created a trust path folder under my xoops_url called 'myphoto-secure'. When you un-zip the module, you'll see there are two folders: 'HTML' and 'xoops-trust-path'. Copy 'xoops-trust-path/modules/webphoto' to: /myphoto-secure/modules/webphoto' and then copy 'HTML/modules/webphoto' to: /modules/webphoto (like a normal module) In mainfile.php you need to define the trust path location: The module should then appear in admin for installation. Ideally the trust path folder should be created outside the web root, but a number of hosts do not allow users to create folders above htdocs. If the folder is inside htdocs you should protect it with an .htaccess fle. HTH. |

Webphoto works well in XOOPS 2.3.2b and 2.4.0
I guess that you failed to upload files . Try to upload files again. |
