RSSC through a Proxy?

RSSC Looks pretty great. I have used it successfully on a public website for testing.

However, my current need is to use RSSC on a XOOPS site that is really an Intranet site for employees. This XOOPS / RSSC installation is inside our City building. All access to the outside world of the internet goes through a proxy server here.

I had this similar situation with the vlWeather module, but there was a config setting for specifying a proxy server for the module to use when reaching out for METAR data on the internet.

Is there a configuration in some file for RSSC so that I can tell it to use a proxy server? Without this, my intranet will not be able to use this module for obtaining RSS feeds.

Please advise.
Regardless, thanks for your hard work on RSSC and other Happy Linux xoops modules such as WebLinks.

Take care,
Paul Kaiser

If remote device 150 lacks a required security tool (for example, if remote device 150 does not have firewall 420 installed), RSSC 145 may deny the connection request. Otherwise, RSSC 145 may send updates to the installed tools, as shown byarrow 435. To accomplish this, RSSC 145 includes translator/filter 440. Translator/filter 440 operates very similarly to translator/filter 205 of FIGS. 2 and 3, except that the target "languages" of the translated/filtered policy files are those ofsecurity tools 410, 415, and 420. Once the policy files are installed, remote device 150 is in compliance with the corporate security policy, and may be permitted to access data on the corporate network.
